Privacy Policy - Swiss Vignette
Last updated: 19 July 2026
Who we are
Swiss Vignette is an independent assistance service that registers Swiss motorway e-vignettes with the Swiss authorities on behalf of customers. We are not affiliated with the Swiss Government or any official body.
What data we collect
- Name and email address (for order confirmation and support)
- Vehicle registration number, and the vehicle details we look up from it via the DVLA (to complete your application)
- Payment information (processed by Stripe - we never see your full card number)
The e-vignette is linked to your number plate, so we do not collect or store any uploaded documents, and there is no delivery address.
How we use your data
Your data is used exclusively to register your e-vignette on the official Swiss federal system and to send you an order confirmation. We do not use it for marketing. We share it only with the parties needed to deliver the service: the Swiss authorities (to register your vignette), the DVLA (to look up your vehicle), Stripe (payments), Resend (order emails) and Cloudflare (hosting and security).
Payment data
All payment processing is handled by Stripe. We receive only a payment confirmation and the last four digits of your card. Full card data never touches our servers.
Data retention
We keep order records only as long as necessary to provide the service and to meet our legal and accounting obligations, then delete them.
Your rights (UK GDPR)
You have the right to:
- Request a copy of data we hold about you
- Request correction or deletion of your data
- Withdraw consent at any time before your application is submitted
To exercise these rights, email [email protected]. We will respond within 72 hours.
Cookies and analytics
This website uses no cookies of any kind. We do not set tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or any other persistent identifiers in your browser, and we use no third-party analytics - which is why you will not see a cookie consent banner on this site.
